Chiefs Make Receiver Switch
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed WR Verran Tucker from their practice squad. To make room for Tucker on the 53-man roster, the Chiefs waived undrafted rookie free-agent WR Jeremy Horne.
Tucker (6-1, 204) originally was signed as a rookie free-agent with the Dallas Cowboys earlier this year. He spent the first five games of the season on the Chiefs practice squad. He played in 23 games at the University of California, catching 50 passes for 815 yards (16.3 avg.) with four TDs after beginning his collegiate career at El Camino Junior College.
