The Kansas City Chiefs signed free-agent DT Atiyyah Ellison last Wednesday (Oct. 20).

Ellison wound up being on of Kansas City's eight inactives for last week's game against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars.

The team decided that they didn't need him and waived the veteran defensive lineman.

In addition, the Chiefs signed WR Jeremy Horne, who was waived last week, to their practice squad.
