Patriots take a look at pass rusher
The New England Patriots worked out DE/OLB Phillip Hunt on Monday, a source confirmed.
Hunt, who also recently worked out for the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings, played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL the past two seasons.
Hunt (6-1, 248), who put up 19 sacks for the Blue Bombers over the past two seasons, is capable of playing defensive end or outside linebacker. His 16 sacks in 2010 led the CFL.
The Patriots have worked out 32 players this season, including 12 defensive players.
