Redskins hoping Torain will be available soon
Washington Redskins RB Ryan Torain, who suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's loss at the Detroit Lions, does not have a tear in his hamstring, head coach Mike Shanahan said during his Monday press conference.
Shanahan said he was 'hopeful' that Torain would be able to play when the team returns from their Week Nine bye to play the division rival Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 15.
Undrafted rookie Keiland Williams is currently the only healthy back on Washington's 53-man roster.
