Apparently, the San Diego Chargers don’t have SS Bob Sanders under contract just yet. The team announced he signed a one-year deal Thursday, but the contract isn't valid.
“Sanders not officially a Charger tonight. Might be a while. I'm told it's for sure that he will be. Interpretation snafu btwn league & team,” The San Diego Times Union’s Kevin Acee said via his Twitter account.
So it seems that once the contract is approved by the NFL’s management council, Sanders will become a Charger.
