The Indianapolis Colts have claimed DT DeMario Pressley off waivers from the Houston Texans on Tuesday. A source confirmed no other teams placed a waiver claim in for the defensive lineman.

Pressley, who was waived by the Texans last Friday, was originally selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

Pressley did not appear in a game with the Texans last season. He did not play in his rookie season for the Saints, but saw action in seven games during the 2009 season.

Pressley, 25, had some buzz associated with him before the 2008 draft as a mid-round sleeper.
