The Philadelphia Eagles worked out free-agent left-footed P Ricky Schmitt earlier this week, a source confirmed.

Schmitt, who also worked out for the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Diego Chargers (twice) during the regular season.

With veteran P Sav Rocca unsigned for next season, the Eagles could be looking for a potential replacement or another punter to compete for the job should they re-sign Rocca.
