Source: Eagles work out wide receiver
The Philadelphia Eagles worked out WR Bobby Williams this week, a source confirmed.
Williams (6-2, 194) spent the first four weeks of the 2010 season on the practice squad of the Houston Texans before signing with the Buffalo Bills practice squad on Dec. 14. His practice squad contract with the Bills expired one week after the regular season ended.
He was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Minnesota Vikings after the 2009 NFL Draft. He went through training camp with the Vikings, but was waived prior to the regular season and spent the year out of football.
He played collegiately at the University of North Alabama.
