While the New York Jets are busy preparing for Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round playoff matchup against the host New England Patriots, they’re also keeping an eye on next season.
The team signed G Marlon Davis and CB Will Billingsley to future contracts. The Jets have not announced the moves, but a source confirmed both players signed on Monday.
The players are not eligible to practice or play for the Jets through the Super Bowl.
Davis was waived/injured by the Jets on Aug. 14. He wound up on injured reserve a few days later. The team waived him off IR in September.
Billingsley spent three weeks with the Jets practice squad during the regular season.
