Source: Patriots and Eagles to work out WR/KR/PR
Former TCU WR Jeremy Kerley is expected to work out for the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles over the next few weeks, a source confirmed.
Kerley (5’9” 1/4, 189), who put together a strong string of practices during Senior Bowl week, is known in scouting circles for his toughness and athleticism.
Kerley, who projects to play in the slot at the next level, is capable of returning punts and kicks. He averaged over 26 yards per kickoff return and 8.1 yards per punt return in his career at TCU—both are solid numbers.
The Eagles are seemingly in good shape at receiver, but are in need of a kickoff returner. The Patriots could use some depth at receiver.
