ILB Mario Harvey (Marshall) put up one of the best 40-yard dash times for a player at his position in recent memory.

Harvey (5-11, 250), because he ran a between 4.39-4.46 during his pro day workout, is starting to line up visits.

He’s expected to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals before this month’s NFL Draft, a source confirmed.

Teams likely will have to go back to watching his game tape to see if his timed speed lines up well with his field speed. If it does, it’s possible that he could play in either a 3-4 or 4-3 defensive scheme at the NFL level as a OLB or ILB.

Harvey, who also has received interest from the Baltimore Ravens, had a late third day grade from personnel evaluators, but his 40-time could make teams reevaluate his value.
