The UFL continues to add ex-NFL players.
Signing with the fledgling league over the past week of note were:
OT Torrin Tucker (Sacramento Mountain Lions)
WR Mario Urrutia (Sacramento Mountain Lions)
WR Dexter Jackson (Virginia Destroyers)
S Aaron Rouse (Virginia Destroyers)
DE Ryan Boschetti (Las Vegas Locomotives)
WR Tab Perry (Las Vegas Locomotives)
Tucker, 31, started 24 games over three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (2003-2005).
Urrutia was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jackson, a former second-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of the 2008 NFL Draft, worked out for the Detroit Lions, New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals last season. Jackson never made an impact for the Buccaneers, but the speedy receiver will get another chance to revive his once promising career.
Rouse, who was selected in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, played for the UFL’s Omaha Nighthawks last season.
Perry, who played for the Locomotives last season, was originally selected in the sixth-round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Boschetti, 29, played for the Locomotives last season. He played for the Washington Redskins for five seasons (2004-2008).
