Oakland Raiders starting SLB Kamerion Wimbley signed his one-year franchise tender, a source confirmed. Wimbley’s guaranteed one-year salary, which was filed to the NFL's personnel office on Wednesday, is valued at $11.312 million.

It’s believed the Raiders will try to sign him to a multi-year contract once a new collective bargaining agreement is reached.

Wimbley, who was acquired from the Cleveland Browns on March 14, 2010, for a third-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, led the Raiders in sacks last season with nine.
