Texans' Ryans Lost For Season
Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak confirmed after today's win over 35-31 victory over the visiting Kansas City Chiefs that starting MLB DeMeco Ryans, who was injured in the first half, suffered a torn Achilles tendon. That type of injury has at least a six-to-nine month rehab.
Starting WLB Zac Diles moved over to the middle to replace Ryans.
Veteran LB Kevin Bentley (knee), who was inactive for the game, could wind up taking over in the middle or could play WLB if Diles takes over in the middle going forward.
