Megan Thee Stallion taking a break from music and entering 'a period of regeneration'

Hot Girl Meg needs to cool off.

Megan Thee Stallion racked up three Grammy Awards at last month's show, including best new artist, but the 26-year-old is prioritizing longevity.

Meg posted to Instagram three consecutive times Thursday as a cohesive announcement that she will be taking a temporary break from music:

"[[SYSTEM MESSAGE]] loading... Megan Thee Stallion is recharging!" the last video shares. "Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle, Meg has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what's next. ....In her absence; mgmt will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach. [[Thee Hotties]] lead a brave //RESISTANCE in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain!"

The "Savage" rapper also tweeted, "I'll be back when it's time" with a fire emoji.

Debut album Good News, released Nov. 20, 2020, shot Meg into mainstream superstardom with hits such as "Body," "Cry Baby" and "Don't Stop"—not to mentioned the "Savage Remix" featuring the Beyoncé.

The Houston native was also featured on Cardi B's global smash "WAP," and most recently, she joined forces with Bankroll Freddie ("Pop It") and Lil Durk ("Movie").
