MLB HR props for Tuesday 8/8: We like Muncy to the Max

We've got a full slate of MLB games on deck Tuesday, as all 30 teams around the leagues will be in action. Let's attack the betting board with my three favorite home run props for Tuesday's slate.

Josh Bell (+390 FanDuel)

Tuesday's matchup between the Cincinnati Reds and Miami Marlins is a must bet from a home run prop perspective because of the projected 27 percent to home runs at Great American Ballpark (Ballpark Pal), which is the highest mark on the slate. Josh Bell has a ton of experience against Luke Weaver with 21 career at-bats and one home run against the right-hander, so this price is well worth a sprinkle.

Joc Pederson (+300 FD)

Los Angeles Angels starter Lucas Giolito has been knocked around for eight home runs and 20 earned runs over his last four starts, so I have no problem fading him Tuesday night. There aren't many players in MLB better than Joc Pederson at making pitchers pay for mistakes, and Giolito has been making far too many mistakes over the last month. If Giolito gives Pederson one pitch middle in, that ball won't be coming back.

Max Muncy (+340 FD)

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Brandon Pfaadt has surrendered five home runs over his last three starts, and that's not great news leading into a start against the red-hot Los Angeles Dodgers. Max Muncy hasn't been contributing much to that hot streak with his .115 batting average and three hits over the last two weeks, but two of those hits were home runs. Muncy has hit 20 of his 27 homers this season off right-handed pitching, and he should be able to touch up the rookie Tuesday night.
