Watch: Pablo Sandoval makes history in Baseball United

Pablo Sandoval had a decorated major league career. He was a three-time World Series champion, World Series MVP, and two-time All-Star.

On Saturday, he added to his accomplishments by being the first player to ever hit a six-run home run in the Middle East and South Asian based Baseball United.

Throughout the game, there are occasional "moneyballs" that are put in play. If a home run is hit off of a moneyball, then it counts for twice as much as it normally would have.

Competing in Baseball United's "All-Star Showcase," Sandoval came up with two-on and no-outs in the top of the fifth inning for the "United East" All-Star team with the score knotted at two, and absolutely crushed a moneyball to right-center for the historic six-run blast.

Sandoval's six-run homer was the difference in the game, as "United East" beat "United West" 9-5, completing the sweet in the two-day showcase event.

Other former big leaguers like Robinson Canó, Bartolo Colón, Jair Jurrgens, Didi Gregorious and Andrelton Simmons competed alongside Sandoval.

The next opportunity to watch Baseball United has not yet been announced.
