Brendan Schaub has weighed in on the issues between UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland and Ian Garry.

Garry has been on the receiving end of some flak online after it was discovered that his wife made a book titled, "How To Be A WAG." A "WAG" means a wife or girlfriend who is in a relationship with an athlete of status. This has led some to believe that Garry's wife is only with him for the notoriety and money.

Garry's wife has denied taking advantage of her husband.

Strickland chimed in on the situation with a video posted on social media warning Garry to get out of his marriage. This led to the rising Irishman threatening to sue Strickland, who didn't take too kindly to the threat.

During an episode of "The Schaub Show," Brendan Schaub criticized Sean Strickland for how he went about the situation.

"If you wanna help Ian Garry out, you don't go public with this," Schaub said.

"My only criticism of Sean Strickland, it's good content for what we do and all that stuff but I could care less about that, if Sean Strickland actually wanted to help Ian Garry, he would've message him privately. That's where you're like, 'Oh, you're not trying to help him, dude.'"

Ultimately, Schaub can't wrap his head around the keyboard warriors online actually caring about what goes on in Garry's life.

"I don't give a s***," Schaub said. "If Ian Garry likes older women and she's his manager and she's directing him in this way and influencing him in this way, okay. Why do you guys care? If that works for him, who are we to judge what works for Ian Garry? If they're in an open relationship, monogamous, whatever it is, who gives a s***? All I care about is Ian Garry performing inside that Octagon. It's his private life, man."

With that said, Schaub also had criticism for Garry over the lawsuit threat.

"The number one rule in fighting, there's no suing in fighting," Schaub said. "Here's the good news, you figure all that out, you get through this s*** storm that you're dealing with and you head kick Vicente Luque, you get on that mic and you rip the hottest freakin' promo calling out Sean Strickland and Leon Edwards."
