Brendan Schaub has expressed concern in the aftermath of Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis.

Schaub was aware of what transpired during the co-main event to a crossover boxing card headlined by KSI vs. Tommy Fury. Paul and Danis had a grudge match that didn't exactly live up to the hype. Danis was rather inactive through the fight and his antics, such as going for a guillotine choke, eventually led to "El Jefe's" disqualification.

Brendan Schaub still heaps praise on both Logan Paul and Dillon Danis for their ability to promote a fight, but he fears the aftermath now that the bout failed to deliver fireworks. Here's what he had to say during a recent episode of "The Schaub Show:"

"The issue is, is what they're doing taking away from the actual fighters in the sport? That's what worries me," Schaub said. "Because again, the buildup to this, insane. Billions of impressions, and then there's no person in this space whether they're an analyst like me, whatever you wanna call me, someone who enjoys the UFC who's been watching since the jump or you're a big boxing head, there's nobody that's familiar with the fight game who's watching that going, 'Man, these guys can fight.'" That's not a knock on them. It's just we're used to this and then we got this."

Some believe that consumers will be able to tell the difference between real pro boxing and influencer boxing, and adjust expectations accordingly. Others feel YouTubers are making a mockery of the sport. No matter the stance, it can't be denied that these events certainly draw interest.
