The subject of whether or not the Earth is secretly flat recently reared its head once again...

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, fitness influencer Bradley Martyn, and former UFC heavyweight fighter Brendan Schaub recently traded some thoughts on the matter. The trio discussed it during a watch-along of UFC 296 over the weekend.

"Rampage," widely regarded as one of MMA's first big draws, revealed an eyebrow-raising opinion on the matter. Never afraid to go against the grain, the former Pride headliner revealed he does indeed believe the Earth is flat.

'Why Do People Get So Mad About That?' - Jackson On The Flat Earth Debate

Jackson was quick to claim that The Bible describes the Earth as flat, questioning why those who disagree often find it so infuriating.

"Why do people care if people believe in the Earth the way the Bible describes it?" Jackson asked. "Why do people get so mad about that?"

When asked if The Bible suggests the Earth is flat, "Rampage" reiterated that it does. In Genesis, the Earth is described as a firmament, and mentions of it being locked onto a foundation have further fuelled the notion that it is indeed flat according to scripture.

When asked by Schaub if he believes the Earth is flat, "Rampage" confirmed he does. After some more discussion on the matter, Schaub questioned what Jackson thinks is real, including the sun.

"No, no, the sun is real," Jackson asserted. "The sun and the moon is real, but outer space is not."

While neither Martyn nor Schaub claimed to agree with the combat legend's views on the matter, Martyn did make a curious observation in his favor. The popular YouTuber stated that photos of actual satellites in space are incredibly rare, making him wonder why more genuine shots aren't revealed to the public.
