76ers Betting Outlook

Like many teams right now, the story for the Philadelphia 76ers revolves around health issues. They have been playing, and struggling, without Joel Embiid — but now they have to tack on the losses of All Star Tyrese Maxey and solid role players in De'Anthony Melton and Robert Covington. Consequently, the rotation is missing so many key players.

I'm sure Nick Nurse will have something drawn up, and Tobias Harris can score in bunches — I would expect the Long Island native to have 25+ playing in front of his hometown New York. Harris's points prop is 19.5 (-108) at FanDuel, 25+ is +290, and 30+ is +900. I like them all!

The 76ers need him to score, and the game total is not dropping, so I don't mind backing player-prop overs because it's not an expected under game.

Knicks Betting Outlook

The Knicks have settled into playing without some of their key guys, and their depth is starting to shine. Jalen Brunson is a stamped go-to player. He can lead a team as a unit or run in isolation, and he is providing the Knicks what they need from night to night.

Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo are also stepping up beautifully, and Precious Achuiwa is a perfect "Thibs" player. The Knicks at home should be able to handle the 76ers. Books are also hanging the key number of -6.5 before the seven, which is the most common outcome in NBA basketball.

Pick: Knicks -6.5 or Tobias Harris Props

The market has a bunch of options revolving around some of the NBA's most important key numbers. PointsBet currently has a -6.5 on the Knicks' spread, and considering everything else available, that is my favorite number to grab right now. However, there are already -8s showing up, to which I would forego playing it that far out on the Knicks side.

If you do not see something at -7 or better, skip it and just play the Tobias props! I am not even opposed to waiting to see how far it goes out and seeing if you get the 76ers +9 eventually. They are too well coached to be a disaster against another Eastern Conference playoff team.
