NBA Props for Wednesday 4/3: Pelicans' JV has the Magic touch

Yesterday we were 1-3 on NBA props, just a rebound or a block away from 3-1, but such is the daily grind of this game. I can handle some near misses though I also respect those who say a loss is a loss. We are coming down to the wire in the NBA and that makes things a little harder even though we have more information.

Tonight we have nine games in the Association. Oklahoma is visiting Boston but the game that might be best is Orlando and New Orleans.

NBA Props for Wednesday, April 3

Jonas Valanciunas Over 10.5 Points (+100)
Magic vs. Pelicans, 8 p.m. ET

Last week we cashed easily with a rebounds prop on JV. Tonight I am getting back to scoring with this number under his seasonal averages. The Pelicans are inconsistent with their use of their top big man but he has bested this three times in the last five games and I think the style of play against Orlando suits him being in the game more than not.

Andrew Nembhard Over 10.5 Points (+114)
Pacers vs. Nets, 7:30 p.m. ET

Like JV, Nembhard is a frequent targeted player here. We nailed his assist prop the other day and also like JV we are gunning for points here. This is right at seasonal averages and he has cashed it three times in the last six games. I like that he has a floor of at least seven points in every one of the last 10 contests. Another bucket or two in those and he would have cashed them too. There is always a good opportunity with the Pacers.

Franz Wagner More Points than CJ McCollum (+120)
Magic vs. Pelicans, 8 p.m. ET

These teams met just a couple of weeks ago and these players tied in points with 18 in that game. That is just one data point, but on the season Wagner is scoring a bit more and I have no reason to think he should not be favored in this matchup. The fact that we are getting a real playoff for something that should be priced at pick'em is too good to ignore.

Brandon Miller Leading Scorer (+150)
Trail Blazers vs. Hornets, 7 p.m. ET

Miller is having a very nice rookie season. Tonight, the Hornets are going to be missing their leading scorer Miles Bridges, so their number two, Miller, is a nice bet to lead all scorers tonight. Anfernee Simons is out for the Blazers too, so there is not going to be much in the way of veteran competition here other than Deandre Ayton, whose scoring is inconsistent.
