HENDERSON, Nev.--The Las Vegas Raiders fan base is ravenous for information, and each week we endeavor to feed that voracious appetite with our weekly question-and-answer article: So without any further adieu, here we go:

Hondo, in your last questions and answer article, I was stunned when you listed Dylan Parham as a guy you expect to shine in 2023.  I respect you, but how can you even justify one bum on that offensive line?  Curtis M.

First of all, do you know the offensive line, personally?  I do.  I can assure you that none of them are bums.  Secondly, how did they get the NFL rushing leader if they are so bad?  Could they have been better?  Every one of them would tell you yes.  But this OL is not as broken as some are saying.  Lastly, Parham had a good rookie season and showed all the signs of potential stardom.  A great player and person.

I love your work, Hondo. Your Q&A columns are the highlight of my week. Do you know whether we figured out what went wrong with Tre’Von Moehrig and Nate Hobbs last year? If so, do you think there is a plan to help them both realize the enormous potential they flashed in 2021?  Thanks again for all that you do for us fans.  God bless. Robert K.

By figuring it out, I am certain they have scoured the film.  I do not believe the coaching was at the level it needed.  Josh McDaniels and Patrick Graham retained them both, so I believe it is germane to assume they have the plan to figure it out.  If both players struggle in 2023, that is on Josh McDaniels.

Hondo, I love the work you do. The hate emails crack me up. My question is, what is the leash on McDaniels and Ziegler? I’ve heard Mr. Davis speak about patience, but if they keep losing and keep bringing in ex-patriots, Raider fans are not going to fill the stadium like Mr. Davis wants. So just wondering if there will be changes if the Raiders don’t make the playoffs this year. Thanks, Jeff M.

I said last season that I expect change if 2023 looks like 2022.  Additionally, I expect Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler to return in 2024.  Mark Davis sees what they are trying to do, and I believe he has bought in.  I don't think 2023 and a return in 2024 are about a record, I think it is about a direction, and Mark sees it.

Hey Hondo, Thank you for your excellent reporting! You are a true journalist in every sense of your work.  In your last deep dive into the Raiders, you mentioned the quote that Mark Davis made about Dave Ziegler and that it was perceived as harsh by others around the league. I didn't see it that way.  Isn't it possible that the Owner was trying to give his new GM some cover with an angry fan base over how last season played out?  If Ziegler is talking with other teams (which he is) - isn't it possible that some of his peers are not always truthful, transparent, and forthcoming in those discussions?  Thanks - Jade S.

First, for those wondering about the article you mentioned, you can read it when you CLICK RIGHT HERE.  Secondly, that is an option; I presented what others around the NFL thought about it.  Your opinion is absolutley viable.  Thank you for the kind words.

Hello Hondo, my question is about Josh Jacobs - it sounds like Mark Davis is a big fan, and indications from Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler are they'd like to keep him around for the long term. If Jacobs is still on the tag come game 1, is there any chance of a holdout or that he will disrupt the locker room?  Thanks!  Logan E.

Great question.  I do believe that Josh would play, and even if he didn't he is not a disruptor.  He is loved by his coaches, and teammates.  This is a business.

Hondo, you get hate mail. Why I have no idea. Your reporting on the Raiders is better than anyone. Please keep up the faith and know that the vast majority of your readers are like me, and we really appreciate your work!  Tim F.

Thank you, that is very kind.  I appreciate you.

Now for this week's Hondo Hate emails:

You fat a**.  Why are you out there like a carnival barker trying to sell us fans that we can be good?  I am the biggest Raiders fan on this planet, and I will root against them the rest of my life until that idiot Mark Davis sells the team and the new owner understands you were the old owner's lap dog and gets rid of you.  F you.  K. Freed

Hondo, the best news I could ever hear is that Mark Davis walks into a media room and slaps you for all your hate toward him and the team.  Do you ever have anything encouraging to say?  I hate you more than anyone alive.  Peter D.

Hondo, Josh McDaniels, and Dave Ziegler may be paying you to carry their water, but the rest of us in Raider Nation see right through it.  Mark Davis made a mistake hiring them, and I can't wait for him to fire them so we can get rid of you.  Mark's biggest fault is that he is trusting.  He trusted Dave and Josh, and they played him. Your hate for Mark and the Raiders and your devotion to McClown and Zigtator is embarrassing, and you are a disgusting human piece of filth.  Maureen Y.

Hondo, I really do hate you, but not for your Raiders coverage.  I love that.  It is because of your hot wife.  No way you deserve her.  Please die so that I can ask her on a date.
