Arizona Cardinals sign S Sean Chandler, Zach Ertz activated off PUP list

Along with officially activating TE Zach Ertz off the PUP list, the Arizona Cardinals have signed S Sean Chandler onto their 90-man roster.

Sean Chandler attended Temple University, where he shared the field with Haason Reddick, a former 1st-round pick of the Cardinals.

Although Chandler went undrafted, he has seen substantial playing time in the NFL thus far. Following a three-season tenure with the Giants, Sean has spent the last two years with the Panthers in Carolina.

During the previous season, Chandler predominantly contributed on special teams, playing in over 50% of the special teams snaps in every single game.

Unfortunately, the 27-year-old, if the Cardinals do stick with him, he will be forced to miss the first two games of the 2023 season due to a PED suspension. The suspension led to his release nine days later.

This suspension was announced back in March.
