Bengals Release Tight End Thad Moss Ahead of Final Cuts

 When the Bengals claimed Thaddeus Moss on waivers from Washington in April, most assumed he was a long shot to make the roster. 

Despite the odds being stacked against him, Moss made some great plays in training camp, including multiple diving catches during team periods. He also finished the preseason strong with a five reception, 44-yard performance against Miami on Sunday. 

That combined with the fact that star quarterback Joe Burrow endorsed Moss led many, including myself, to believe that he was going to make the Bengals' 53-man roster. 

Unfortunately, he didn't make the team. 

"Nah, I ain't make it," Moss said on his Instagram story. "The marathon continues."
