Chargers News: Veteran Corey Linsley Feels Great Going Into Year 10
USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers will be heading into the 2023 season with expecations they've never faced before. LA has all the tools to get the job done, and even though they have some young bucks on the team, the veterans could carry them over the top. LA has plenty of veterans at its disposal, including their center Corey Linsley

Linsley will enter this third year as a Bolts, but his 10th overall year in the league; however, you wouldn't be able to tell. Linsley is still playing great at a high level and feels great going into the 2023 season. The 31-year spoke with Chargers insider Eric Smith and said he doesn't feel like he's entering his 10th season.

"No, thank God," Linsley said with a laugh. "We were just talking about this. I never would have thought I would have felt his good at Year 10.

Linsley has had his fair share of injuries throughout the past couple of seasons, and even he's surprised he's still playing football.

"I thought I was going to be hobbled. It's tougher to recover sometimes. I feel like I take such better care of my body now," Linsley continued. "Some of it is because you have to and some of it is because you just train smarter."I definitely feel a lot better than I thought I would, so I'm thankful for that, and I'm lucky to not have any major injuries," Linsley added.

The 31-year-old has been solid for the Bolts in his first two seasons, playing and starting in 30 games, 1935 offensive snaps that accounted for 89%, only has only two holding penalties, three false starts, and only eight total penalties.

Linsley is an accomplished center in the league and has been great for the Bolts and star QB Justin Herbert. We hope he can stay healthy in his 10th year and protect Herbert in the process.
