The Detroit Lions are currently 3.5-point betting favorites against the Chicago Bears.

After being a healthy scratch for the majority of the season, rookie defensive lineman Brodric Martin is active this week.

With Bruce Irvin and Quinton Bohanna both not being utilized this week from the practice squad, Isaiah Buggs is also active.

Detroit's defense is aiming to limit Justin Fields' time in the pocket, as DJ Moore had success earlier this season against Detroit at Ford Field.

“Well, it’s just verified every week how good of a player he is, let me start there. He’s a hell of a player, and he’s big, he’s physical, he’s got great hands, run-after-catch. So, I mean, he’s somebody that, obviously, we’ve got to pay a lot of attention to," said Dan Campbell. "And, it’s every week, look, we’re no different than anybody else. There’s times you’re going to want to try to take him out and limit what they do with him. But, the teams that are doing it, it’s the same thing."

Detroit's defensive line has another opportunity to achieve its goal of limiting Fields, who has had recent success playing against Aaron Glenn's defense

Campbell detailed the challenges playing against the Bears' offense presents his 9-3, division-leading team.

"Minnesota tried to do a little bit and he shows up again, and Washington tried to do it and he had one of the biggest games you could have in a season," Campbell said. "So, he’s not easy, but there’ll be times where we’ve got to put some focus on him (Moore), but when you do that, now, you’re putting a strain on everybody else in the box on (Justin) Fields and his legs and then the other one-on-one matchups.

"Those guys have got to win their one-on-one matchups when we do that. So, this is not an easy task, this is not," Campbell explained further. "These guys are playing good football on offense. They can run it. Fields is playing at a high level. Moore is dangerous. (Cole) Kmet is playing at a high level, so. (Darnell) Mooney, I mean, you can go across the board. They’re playing good football.”
