Did Tyreek Hill just spoil the news of big Dolphins signing?

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s latest Snapchat posts have turned a few heads.

The 30-year-old posted a photo of himself embracing Odell Beckham Jr. on the social media platform Thursday night, seemingly confirming the two-time All-Pro will be signing with the Dolphins.

Since free agency started last month, things have been quiet on the Beckham Jr. front.

He visited the Dolphins in March, and head coach Mike McDaniel stated that the team offered him a contract, but he left the facility without signing it.

“Things went great with him,” McDaniel said of OBJ’s visit via SI.com. “We did make him an offer, and business takes time, especially with players such as Odell, who's had a phenomenal career, still has really good football in front of him and has options. So, I think those conversations will be ongoing. We'll see where they go.”

Beckham Jr., 31, signed a one-year, $15M deal with the Baltimore Ravens last offseason. He played in just 14 games with the team in 2023, catching 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns. He led the team in yards per reception (16.1) and was tied for the second-most first downs via catch (27).

The Dolphins are reportedly looking for a third receiver behind Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The duo combined for 191 catches, 2,813 yards and 17 touchdowns last season, but aside from their production, no other WR on the team reached 30 receptions or 300 yards.
