The Kansas City Chiefs made a move at wide receiver

The Kansas City Chiefs were busy at work getting their roster together to prepare for the Super Bowl. The Chiefs survived an exciting AFC Championship Game that saw them kick a game-winning field goal to beat the Cincinnati Bengals. Now the Chiefs will prepare for the hardest challenge of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs hope to heal up before the contest. With question marks at pass-catching positions, they elevated two wide receivers and activated tight end Jody Forston from the injured reserve for the AFC Championship Game. They made those moves on Saturday, the same day they signed running back La’Mical Perine to the practice squad and released Jerrion Ealy.

According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Chiefs signed Ealy back to the practice squad on Monday. They cut kicker Matthew Wright to make room for Ealy.

Ealy will now be able to practice with the Chiefs as they prepare to play the Eagles in the Super Bowl. The depth at wide receiver should help a Chiefs team that has seen its fair share of injuries on offense this season.
