The New England Patriots made a few roster moves on Wednesday. They’re looking to rebuild a roster that can compete for the playoffs after being shut out for the 2022 season. The Patriots made a change at offensive coordinator a few weeks ago. They released three players this week.
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Patriots waived cornerback Tae Hayes, kicker Quinn Nordin and wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson.

Hayes played for the Carolina Panthers and Patriots this season. He played in two games for New England. Hayes had three total defensive tackles during that time. Nordin had no stats for the 2022 season.
Wilkerson had been with the Patriots since the 2020 season. He did not play in a regular-season game for the Patriots during the 2022 season. Wilkerson had played in four games total for the Patriots since 2020. The undrafted free agent caught four passes for 42 yards for his career in New England. Two of those passes were for touchdowns.
