The Ravens entered the 2023 NFL Draft with just five picks. However, they left with six picks and general manager Eric DeCosta believes the team landed a starter with the one pick it didn't enter the draft with.
"A very, very physical, tough, gritty, smart guy," DeCosta said. "We think [Andrew Vorhees] has a chance to compete as a starter pretty early on when he comes back."

Baltimore traded back into the seventh round to land Vorhees who was projected to be a third or fourth-round pick before tearing his ACL at the NFL Scouting Combine.
"It was tough for sure, just hearing that, the timing of it," Vorhees said. "But I think I had a good response."
That he did. Vorhees posted a combine-best 38 reps on bench press a day after tearing his ACL and missing breakfast that morning.
The Ravens took a chance on Vorhees' massive upside. If he can return fully healthy, Baltimore got an absolute steal in the seventh round.
For Vorhees, he will miss the entirety of his rookie season, but he will certainly return to the football field more motivated than ever in 2024.
"Super thankful again for the opportunity to be a part of this organization and just looking forward to being a part of it for a long time," Vorhees added.
