Former Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III had some strong words about who the New York Giants should target during the 2024 NFL Draft. In fact, he laid out a plan for them regarding their first two picks.
Michael Penix Jr. is worthy of a top 10 pick. His tape is as good or better than any of the top QBs in this draft. The dream scenario for the @Giants would be to draft Malik Nabers at #6 and draft Penix in the second round if he falls there.

Wide receiver have often been a landing spot for a QR in round one. That make sense. They need an alpha, top target in their offense to give Daniel Jones any shot at proving himself this year after his injuries in 2023.
That being said, addressing QB early also makes sense. Adding someone like Penix, who has some exciting potential, would be smart. He can push the ball downfield better than Jones, and he's highly regarded for his leadership.
Griffin's plan is one that the Giants may choose to use, too. They've shown interest in Penix, along with other QB prospects like Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and J.J. McCarthy. They've done a lot of homework on these QB prospects.
