Blackhawks Will Be Well Represented at World Championships

Although the Chicago Blackhawks' season will come to a close without postseason hockey in the cards, the Blackhawks will still be well represented on the international stage after the season concludes.

According to a report from Andy Strickland, and later confirmed by Chicago Sun-Times' Ben Pope, Connor Bedard, Seth Jones, and Alex Vlasic are all expected to represent their respective countries in the 2024 World Championships.

Jones has represented the United States at the World Championships three times in his career, and has numerous other international appearances under his belt. Most recently, Jones played for Team USA in 2022 and served as team captain after completing his first season with the Blackhawks.

As for the youngsters, this will be their first respective World Championships. Bedard has represented Canada in the World Juniors numerous times, but this will be Vlasic's first time representing the USA outside of the U.S. National Development Program.

Regardless of how the season went for the Blackhawks, additional hockey is always something to look forward to. With some of the team's top players representing their home countries, now more than ever is a great time to tune in to see Bedard, Jones, and Vlasic on the international stage.
