Chelsea boss Pochettino admits Palmer may miss Arsenal clash

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino admits Cole Palmer is likely to miss tomorrow's clash with Arsenal.

However, he insists they can win without him.

Pochettino said: "We'll see tomorrow. We need to assess tomorrow morning but today I don't believe that he can be involved.

"We need to assess him tomorrow and then we will decide. Even if he is good tomorrow, maybe he won't be in a condition to play. I hope he can recover from this situation as soon as possible and be ready to play."

He also said: "With or without him, we believe that we can win. The most important is the team, the collective.

"Of course, he is an important part of the team and is doing fantastic but this is Chelsea and there are plenty of players who can perform and do a job also."

On Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell injuries, he added: "Malo [Gusto] suffered a minor injury, a little problem with the ligament of his knee. I'm not a doctor but it's not a big issue.

"Chilly after playing for the national team has the same issue he has had over the last few weeks."
