Denis Zakaria set for Turkey move after missing tiny window for Chelsea success

Denis Zakaria is likely to leave Chelsea this summer when his loan expires.

After arriving as a rather unexpected summer deadline day loan move, the defensive midfielder had to wait a long time for his shot in the team. When it finally came he rather impressed, and either side of the World Cup break he had an impressive spell.

But a badly timed injury took him out of the team at the worst possible moment, and the subsequent arrival of Enzo Fernandez then left him without a place in the team.

At one point there were serious debates about whether Chelsea would activate the purchase clause in his deal, but now there are rumours in Italy about a move to Galatasaray being more likely.

It just goes to show how quickly things can change in football. Its seems Zakaria may have played his last minutes in a Blue shirt already.
