Done Deal: Real Betis reach Johnny Cardoso agreement with Internacional

Real Betis have closed a deal for USA international midfielder Johnny Cardoso.

The 22 year-old will join Betis from Internacional on January 1.

Cardoso is likely to arrive as cover for Guido Rodriguez, who comes off contract at the end of the season.

Betis are paying 6m to Inter for 80 per cent of Cardoso's registration.

Cardoso is expected in Seville on December 28 when training resumes after the winter break.
