Former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp believes that Sheffield United will be determined to prove themselves against Newcastle United today. Paul Heckingbottom’s team is hosting the Magpies at Bramall Lane, aiming to secure their first Premier League victory of the season.

Heckingbottom expressed frustration with the officials after their unfortunate 2-1 loss to Tottenham in their previous match, emphasizing that United’s performances deserved more points.

However, Harry Redknapp, the former manager of Tottenham and Portsmouth, predicts that Newcastle will leave South Yorkshire with a 1-0 victory today. Redknapp stated his prediction to BetVictor, “Sheffield United will have a serious point to prove after being left frustrated at Spurs last weekend, it will be tough against a Newcastle side with plenty of talent.”

“Sheffield United will be hard to break down but Newcastle can come away with a tight win.”

Due to Oli McBurnie’s one-match suspension, Heckingbottom will need to make one enforced change in the forward position, with summer signing Benie Traore potentially replacing McBurnie. Centre-back John Egan is in contention to start after recovering from a knee injury. Defender George Baldock and forward Will Osula are unlikely to be included in the lineup as Sheffield United aims to end a five-match winless streak.
