Hernanes backing Cuadrado after leaving Juventus for Inter Milan

Hernanes can understand Juan Cuadrado joining Inter Milan.

The Colombian has left Juventus for Inter - with Hernanes having made the opposite move during his career.

Hernanes told Sky Italia: "He's not just a great player, he's also a friend. I was pleased that he stayed in Italy and not so far from me, who live in Turin.

"There is rivalry that goes beyond the box... But when they see the work, the commitment and the respect you have for a shirt, the fans can even change their opinion.

"This he must try to do. The rivalry is big, but if he starts to do well on the pitch it will be appreciated."
