Lazio president Claudio Lotito is open to letting Mateo Guendouzi leave this summer, defining a price tag for the unhappy midfielder.

The 25-year-old Frenchman has shown a number of highs and lows since joining the Biancocelesti last summer from Olympique Marseille on a loan deal with a €13m obligation to buy clause attached. In his debut season, he’s scored three goals and provided four assists.

Guendouzi has struggled following last month’s arrival of Igor Tudor at Lazio, having a frosty relationship with the Croatian coach from their time together in Ligue 1. Despite that, he’s still featured regularly.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Guendouzi and Tudor have agreed a truce to finish the season in the best possible way at Lazio, but there’s no guarantees that the midfielder will be in Rome next season.

Should the Frenchman ask for a move away, Lotito wouldn’t block a possible exit and has set a €30m price tag on the 25-year-old, who is contracted to June 2028.
