Rapinoe poses after scoring second goal vs. France
Michael Chow-USA TODAY Sports

Megan Rapinoe was proving to be the difference in the USA’s quarterfinal match against France at the Women’s World Cup on Friday.

Rapinoe scored on a free kick five minutes into the match to give the U.S. a 1-0 lead. Then in the second half, she struck again with a goal to make it 2-0 off a pass from Tobin Heath.

Rapinoe gave a pose after scoring the goal:

Rapinoe scored four straight goals for the team with that one, giving her five on the tournament, which ties her for the Golden Boot lead along with teammate Alex Morgan, England’s Ellen White and Australia’s Sam Kerr.
