Real Betis coach Pellegrini expects Henrique to stay; happy for Borja over Bayer Leverkusen move

Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini insists he doesn't expect to lose Luiz Henrique this coming week.

The Brazilian winger has been linked with Everton this month.

But Pellegrini, ahead of facing Real Mallorca, says: "Luiz Henrique is on the list, he is still here and we hope he continues like this. I am counting on him for the market closing as well, he is a very important player for us.

"We hope that what happened with Luiz Felipe is not repeated. If it happens again, I will have the same opinion, we must have a team with aspirations and I hope that does not happen."

On Borja Igleisas and his move to Bayer Leverkusen, he added: I think it is a great opportunity for him, they are a winning team and perhaps a change of scenery would be good for Borja to demonstrate his ability in another League.

"I did not oppose his departure as long as a replacement comes who does not weaken the team."
