Real Mallorca coach Aguirre unsure of board plans

Real Mallorca coach Javier Aguirre admits he's not heard from the board about next season.

Aguirre is due to come off contract this summer.

The Mexica said: "They haven't spoken to me, and they don't have to because the goal (avoiding relegation) hasn't been achieved yet. I insist that I am happy here. It's a club that called me at a difficult time and I'm happy.

"I have an exquisite relationship with the board, with the owner, with the players.

"I think I'm in the ideal place, but the most sensible thing to do is to focus on the league, get the necessary points for salvation and once that happens, the most sensible thing to do will be to sit down and talk."

Mallorca sit six points away from the dropzone.
