Watch: Gusto and Nkunku – reading Pochettino’s reaction on whether they could start tonight

We’ve seen a few Mauricio Pochettino press conferences at this point, and we’re starting to learn his tics and his tendencies.

Yesterday he revealed that Malo Gusto and Christopher Nkunku are going to be “in the squad” for tonight’s game against Liverpool. But does this mean they’ll start? A couple of weeks ago he said a player would be in the squad who ended up starting, so clearly he’s not using it as shorthand for the bench.

We think both have a really good chance of starting the game tonight and not just coming off the bench.
