Dave Meltzer shared some AEW news, notes and confirmations regarding Full Gear's location, Bobby Fish and Thunder Rosa in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Full Gear heading to the East Coast?

Confirming a Fightful report from this week, Meltzer said that Full Gear is set for the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, November 19th.

AEW typically runs Full Gear on Saturdays so they don't go head to head with the NFL.

Meltzer said the current plan calls for a live Rampage from the Prudential Center, but that week's Dynamite will emanate from a different location.

Bobby Fish's contract

News broke over the last few days that Bobby Fish would not be returning to AEW as his contract wasn't being renewed.

Meltzer confirmed PWInsider's report that the deal expired on August 31st, adding that "both sides couldn't come to an agreement right now and the door is not close as far as coming to an agreement later."

Fish launched a podcast recently and talked about being disappointed he wasn't wrestling in AEW more.

AEW talent asking for release?

In talking about the recent story about WWE approaching contracted AEW wrestlers about returning, Meltzer corroborated media stories that one current roster member has asked for his release. It wasn't granted as the unnamed talent has a long time left on their deal.

Wrestling Inc's Raj Giri reported that it was Malakai Black with Fightful saying Black had been unhappy but issues were smoothed over. Black is set for a trios match on Sunday's All Out.

A replacement for Thunder Rosa at AAA Triplemania

AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa is not only out of action for several months due to a back injury, but Meltzer said she is out of October's Triplemania match against Reina de Reinas Champion Taya Valkyrie.

He said they are hoping to get another AEW female wrestler to replace her, but that is not finalized.
