Bobby Fish and AAA's Hugo Savinovih were guests on the latest "K100 w/ Konnan and Disco" podcast. Fish discussed about The Undisputed Era days in NXT, NXT vs. AEW fans, the backstage environment in AEW and more. Hugo talked about Tony Khan's Lucha Libre knowledge, Eddie Guerrero's relationship with Vince McMahon, the "Marian invasion" angle idea while in WWE, and several other topics.

Konnan on the team name suggested for Angelico and Jack Evans:

"You know Jack 'I drink more monster drinks than anybody on earth while simultaneously smoking' Evans? Jack Evans and Angelico, I had them as a tag team. They were great. They came up with this thing and you can ask them if you ever see them because they'll pop. We had everybody in the company that was in creative and other departments coming up with names for wrestlers or factions. Listen to the name that they came up with and I said, 'There's absolutely no way I'm gonna let them go out with that fu**ing name, 'The angry kids.'”

Bobby Fish on what it was like going from NXT to AEW:

"Quite a lot less structure. Quite a bit more freedom, which at first, I think a lot of the boys kind of welcome it, but then you experience it for a little while and it gets a little frustrating to be totally honest. I think some people did have way too much stroke, for sure, but I think some of those people, that's how they operate and that's how they get over. Those people are just gonna be who they're gonna be. I'm not one of them. You know, I couldn't tell you the difference between a Democrat and a Republican. I don't play that game. I always let my physical speak for itself because I've been doing athletics my whole life."

“I do think that there's a middle ground where there's too much structure, there's not enough structure, and there's a sweet spot in the middle, and I think they're closer to maybe too much freedom, and the boys sometimes need to be saved from the boys. They're their own worst enemy."

"The inmates cannot run the asylum. There has to be a governor put on. The creativity is great, but like I said, there has to be a governor for it, something that funnels it into something constructive, as opposed to, you know, I mean, how many times are people just trying to get their sh*t in or suspicious of like, "Oh, well, this guy's just trying to get his sh*t in.' That creates dissension. That doesn't create unity in the locker room. That's where I think a company can be successful is when it feels like, okay, well, you know, we're going out there to put on the best goddamn show we can put on, and I'll say this. I mean, that's what NXT Black and Gold felt like, the TakeOvers. It felt like it was seven to eight matches and everybody was getting a decent amount of time and stories the fans were invested in, so we're all gonna go out there and just try to have a great show."

Hugo Savinovich on AEW:

"Tony, he has something incredible right now. He's got a company that has the talent, but whatever we complain about WWE, now it's happening to AEW. You got guys sitting at the catering room and you get really bad stuff, and then the ratings are down and he has no reason for. If you let that, whatever he called that you have in Wembley Stadium, 80,000 people, if you let that thing go to your head, then you're gonna have things like last Wednesday on TV. I don't even talk about it, but I get the numbers because we had one of our guys there. It was about 700 people paid or 750 people paying and they moved the fans for the angles for the camera. We're talking about the AEW Dynamite show, after doing like 80,000 people, you couldn't even get 1000 people. This is like when you know that you've got to go to the nitty gritty and listen to some people like you said, to Jeff, or Arn, or Jake, or whatever. I think that right now, the problem is there's too many people that think they know what the heck they're doing and there's not."
