Frankie Kazarian knows he made the right choice for himself.

During a recent interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co, Frankie Kazarian opened up about his decision to leave AEW in order to return to IMPACT Wrestling.

“I left where I was and I chose to come here. This was where I wanted to be and it’s been wonderful,” Kazarian said. “This company is on a roll, this locker room is the best I’ve been in ever in terms of not only talent, all the talented men and women, but just good hard working people. Good people behind the scenes.

“It’s been hands down the best decision I could have made. I’ve been saying a lot this year that my motto is bet on yourself. You bet on yourself and you’ll never lose and that’s what I decided to do, and so far it’s been a win for me.”

Kazarian was signed to AEW from 2019 until the end of 2022. He made a handful of IMPACT appearances in 2022 thanks to the “forbidden door,” but ultimately decided to sign with his former home in January 2023.

The five-time X-Division Champion will team with his wife Traci Brooks to take on Alisha and Eddie Edwards during IMPACT 1000 on September 14. WrestleZone will have complete coverage of the show as it airs.
