Mick Foley isn't sure if he'll be having one final match.

Last month, the 58-year-old Hardcore Legend revealed that he was thinking about doing one final death match for his 60th birthday. Foley said he wanted to lose 100 pounds and was using the idea of having one last match as motivation to help him drop the weight. Foley said the match would not take place in WWE.

Foley gave an update on the possibility during a live autograph signing for Highspots this week. Foley said he feels better and is moving better, but his weight loss isn't showing up on the scale yet. Foley said he'll know by the start of 2025 whether he's going to go through with the match or not.

Foley responded when asked if he's really thinking about doing one more match:

Yeah, but I’d have to lose an extraordinary amount of weight - and it’s not falling off like I hoped it would. So I’m going to have to reexamine where I am at a certain point. It’s not about the money. I want to have a fun match, but I am having trouble. I’ve been working out, I feel better, moving better, but it’s not showing up as of yet on the scale.

So I’m not sure. I’ll have an answer by the beginning of the year.

Foley had mentioned Jon Moxley or Matt Cardona as potential opponents for the death match. He told Highspots that there are a lot of different options for his opponent.

It's been more than a decade since Foley last wrestled as an entrant in the 2012 WWE Royal Rumble. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
