The Rock Rumored For Another WWE Match In 2024
Source: WWE

After such a long period away from a pro wrestling ring, The Rock is back and we might get more than one WWE match from him in 2024.

The Rock Rumored For Another WWE Match In 2024

WWE pushed for The Rock to wrestle again and we should be getting that at WrestleMania 40. While not official, look for The Rock & Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.

That epic tag match should be confirmed before SmackDown concludes. Therefore, we will get at least one match from The Rock within the next 30 days.

As for the future, WWE would like him to wrestle again in 2024. In fact, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how a match in May is being discussed.

If so, it would see The Rock travel to Saudi Arabia for the May 25 special.

“When asking if Rock will be working that show, we’re told there are a lot of variables in play and a variety of factors but obviously the company would like it if he would,” said Meltzer. “But, while nothing is set in stone, the belief as of right now is that Mania won’t be his only match in 2024.”

“And. there is definitely a push to get him to work at least one Saudi Arabia event this year.”

Rhodes vs The Rock has been teased for several weeks. Of course, WWE always wanted see him to challenge Reigns.

There are certainly several options for WWE and they have time. With The Rock part of the TKO Board, having him wrestle is a bit easier.

We have not seen The Rock in an actual match in about a decade. Even before his two year feud with John Cena, he barely stepped inside the ring.

In a tag match, it leaves room for the others to handle most of the work. We will have to see if ring-rust is real or just talk.
