Triple H Unveils New World Tag Team Titles On 4/15 WWE RAW

The RAW Tag Team Championships were renamed and replaced on the April 15 episode of WWE RAW.

Triple H came to the ring on WWE RAW and looked back on the success of WrestleMania 40. He noted that a new era started, and Adam Pearce highlighted how that was true for the tag team division as well. He and Triple H brought out the new RAW Tag Team Champions, The Miz and R-Truth. Triple H congratulated them and noted that the duo made history. He reiterated that it was a new era, and they needed to represent that.

Triple H said that they would be known as the World Tag Team Champions. He went on to unveil new titles, and R-Truth expressed his excitement.

The Miz said that this was their chance to elevate the titles. He then spoke French to R-Truth to help him understand that the titles were theirs after Truth got a little confused. Triple H gave Miz and Truth the titles and shook their hands.

The Miz and R-Truth won the RAW Tag Team Titles in a Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match for both sets of tag team titles at WrestleMania 40.

As of this writing, there is no word on whether the SmackDown Tag Team Championship will be renamed.
